AFP gets new deputy chief for education, training

MANILA – Commodore Donn Anthony Miraflor, previous commander of Joint Job Power (JTF) West, assumed as the new Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Deputy Chief-of-Workers for Instruction, Schooling, and Doctrine (J-8).

Vice Adm. Rommel Anthony SD Reyes, AFP Deputy Main of Workers, presided above the improve-of-main-of-office ceremony at the AFP Typical Headquarters Making in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on Thursday.

“Commodore Miraflor’s several notable achievements acquired him the wisdom and broad awareness that shall provide as his foundation in crafting suitable courses for the AFP’s Schooling, Coaching and Doctrine growth,” Reyes said in a assertion Thursday evening.

Miraflor also previously served as Naval Forces West main, the device whose key process is to shield the country’s western frontier and territorial sovereignty.

He also headed the Joint Job Drive Malampaya in Palawan.

As commander of the Joint Job Force West, Miraflor created the operational layout to sustain a naval existence in its region of functions.

The command secured and sustained occupied islands and features in the Kalayaan Island Group and secured the county’s sea traces of communications along the Mindoro and Balabac Straits.

Miraflor also identified the achievements of the outgoing J-8, Rear Admiral Antonio C. Palces, who will think as the new vice commander of the Philippine Navy.

“Rear Admiral Palces and his office gave (a) premium not only in the conduct of joint workout routines and the crafting of doctrines in the AFP but also in increasing the military’s education and learning and instruction devices and processes. He was ready to institutionalize quite a few instruction frameworks, explore several study agendas, and formulate and revise the curricula of its packages,” he explained.

Constant military education and schooling in the AFP are important in making sure that troops are capacitated and competent in adapting to safety troubles that they come upon whilst advertising a society of excellence and professionalism in the military services organization. (PNA)
