In this podcast, listen to Nathan and Teacher Toolkit podcaster, Libby focus on:

  • The prolonged faculty working day pilot in Wales will see in excess of 1,800 learners in 13 colleges and just one college
  • College students will profit from five additional hours around a 10-week period.
  • What has been the reaction to this trial with lecturers in Wales?
  • What are the positives and negatives of extending the college day?
  • How will it effects trainer wellbeing and learners?

The thought is to place additional “lovely experiences” back again into the life of pupils, particularly a target on the disadvantaged.
