MULTIVERSAL CONFLUENCE
“A Cosmic Disaster,” by Richard Panek, discusses doable factors why the two strategies utilized to measure the universe’s level of enlargement obtain conflicting values—a discrepancy regarded as the Hubble pressure. I am puzzled that the report does not mention forces from outside the house our universe acting on it. Can’t we expect that there are other universes with mass like ours that will have gravitational, and perhaps other, effects on us? I never signify quantum parallel things but other big bang success beyond our have. We stay in a galaxy that is section of a cluster of galaxies in a universe. Why not a cluster of universes? How do we know we are not in collision with one that is pulling our universe in strategies that massively mess with our measurements?
