@geoffkrall shared a year’s value of algebra heat-ups. These are created to healthy with the US curriculum wherever learners examine maths in discrete chunks, which is quite unique to the technique we just take in the United kingdom. In the US, college students analyze a training course in Algebra, then Geometry, then Algebra 2. Geoff points out in his site submit that he made this set of heat ups to enable pupils hold their algebra expertise fresh during their geometry training course. Thank you Geoff!

Much Ado About Quantities – Maths & Shakespeare offers a unique chance for a joint vacation for Maths, English and Record departments. I wager it will be good.
I am off on holiday break with my relatives for two months tomorrow – we are heading to a cottage in Cornwall. I won’t be able to hold out. When I get back again, I’m seeking forward to a few of chilled weeks at the finish of August, together with catching up with maths academics at Dr Frost’s triannual drinks.
