ECE Educators Graduate in Tanzania

The Early Childhood Schooling (ECE) venture run by the Tanzania Teachers’ Union (TTU) and Training Global has, amid the achievements, led to 352 educators receiving a diploma in early childhood education  right after undergoing a two-12 months in-service course.  The graduation ceremony took place on 21 December 2020 in Dodoma, Tanzania.

 

Dubbed “Developing Educators, strengthening early discovering in Rural Tanzania: Chemba and Mpwapwa districts’’, the project was funded by Comedian Relief (CR) and implemented by TTU in collaboration with Schooling Worldwide (EI). The venture ran for a period of four years, from January 2017 to December 2020. 

 

In the training course of the undertaking, a Competence Profile for ECE Educators was developed to increase expert teaching expectations for ECE educators. Evidence- based advocacy products have been also made. The task has enabled ECE Educators to bear intensive skilled enhancement coaching and enhanced their capability to get ready and use regionally created instructing materials.
